Blue Arabesque Bath
A small master bath in a 1920’s New Jersey Tudor house had homeowners singing the blues. In a much-needed update and expansion, stunning styling in Moroccan Blues create an oasis for the eyes that is accented with an Arabesque etched glass motif, and packs plenty of storage into a tiny space. With an elegant combination of custom dark navy cabinetry and different shades and patterns of blue tile, polished fixtures, and etched glass highlight a unique and eclectic style small hall bath. The myriad of both bold and subtle blue colors work so well together that they create an oasis to for the eyes. The built-in sink area in the Edgemont Recessed door style in a Navy painted finish features a Kuma Carrera Engineered Stone top and undermount sinks. Above, dual medicine cabinets hide wall storage behind and become a focal feature. To provide enough functional storage, the designer built into the vanity a variety of storage elements including a hamper, built-in docking outlet to keep a hair dryer plugged in, and outlets to charge toothbrushes inside the medicine cabinets. Coordinating shades of blue ceramic and porcelain tile from Artistic Tile on the floor and backsplash along with polished chrome hardware and bright white water appliances have turned this master bath into a calm and inviting space to refresh, relax and recharge.
