Looking to bring their previous kitchen “into the 21st Century,” these homeowners took on more than planned. In fact, the renovation turned into a large addition to bring their dream to life. Fitting the modern kitchen into the open addition and making it flow seamlessly with the new adjacent great room was the goal.
This kitchen features Westchester Recessed doors pulled together by three contrasting finishes. The wall of rich dark Iron Gray cabinetry features ribbed glass inserts. Followed by the range wall in a custom warm wood heirloom stain on plain sawn white oak, featuring focal point custom crafted details in the special hood design, and floating shelves with integrated lighting. Rounded out by a large island in a clean Nordic White finish with a waterfall edge countertop. The coffee bar is conveniently placed between the eat-in kitchen table and the living room, where a cup of coffee can be enjoyed over breakfast or in front of the fireplace.
