generations, in the City of Chicago and

business! In fact, 2012 marks 70 years,
Wood-Mode has been widely recognized for
excellence in cabinet design, material
selection, cabinetry construction and finishes.

finish they used on their cabinetry was compared
to the quality of the finish on Steinway pianos!
Much of the credit for the quality of
Wood-Mode’s cabinet finish is due to the many
hand finishing details and steps executed with
pride by their dedicated craftspeople. They,
like Joseph Woodworking, have many generations
of experience from which to draw upon. Using
only the finest materials, woodworking skills,

In 2011, Joseph Woodworking constructed a new
conference room at our Chicago location, notably
showcasing a fusion of Joseph Woodworking and
Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry. Along with
displaying our project, the space serves as a
unique design lab for you, our client. It’s
complete with the design tools such as door and
finish samples. You can rub your hands over the
finish, compare cabinetry door styles and find
inspiration in endless photographs of kitchens
and bathrooms we’ve designed for other homes
from Chicago to Elmhurst, IL to Kenilworth, IL
(and beyond!).
We can’t forget the state of the art technology
used by Joseph Woodworking, which includes the
AutoCad & AutoKitchen, kitchen and cabinetry
design tools. We make it all about visualizing
our designs in your home – your space will come
to life on paper, before any construction even
begins. In fact, other than the day your new
kitchen or bathroom is completely remodeled and
installed – visualizing how your space will
feel, before you live in it, is hands down, one
of our clients’ favorite days in the creative
experience!
